      For County Road residents who do not want spraying done in the road right of way along their property. Weeds are subject to the Minnesota Noxious Weed Law, State Statute 18.75 thru 18.91. It is then the property owners' responsibility to control the weeds and brush along their area right of way to the County's satisfaction.

      PLEASE SUBMIT SEPARATELY IF THERE ARE MULTIPLE LOCATIONS.

      THIS FORM MUST BE RENEWED ANNUALLY AND IS DUE BY APRIL 30TH.

Utility Permit

      For Utility work being done along or across County Highways. A work site card will be issued upon final approval.

Moving Permit

ROAD WORK OR CLOSURES: 2024 Spring Weight Restrictions are now in place. Weight Restrictions will remain in effect for CSAH 6 from CSAH 65 to TH 29. For more information, please check (https://ottertailcounty.gov/project/county-road-and-construction-updates/)

      For moving oversized structures (wider than 8'6", longer than 60') or overweight loads. Contact the County Highway Office for overweight information at 218-998-8470. If moving a Used Mobile Home, a Tax Clearance Sheet is required and can be obtained from the Assessor's Office.

      Permits can be made for up to 3 days. You may contact our office if an extension is needed.

      Permits won't be issued after 4pm.

      A work site card will be issued upon approval.

      NOTE: SPRING ROAD RESTRICTIONS STILL APPLY.
